Swim Club Boosters

Next meeting April 16^th, 7pm, at TW Amigos in Hartland. Meetings will be held third Friday of each month.

Minutes from March 18, 2010 7:10pm

Present: Heidi Reinert, Becky Brown, Coleen Grosso, Maureen Robinson, Gina Wistinghausen,

Maria Puranen, Tami Cain

The first order of business is changing the bank from one in Brighton to Citizens in Hartland. The vote was unanimous.

The account will have to be changed to reflect Colleen as treasurer.

The by-laws were discussed and changed, see attached by-laws. Changes include, but are not limited to …coaches

not hired by the board, no longer a co-op with Lake Fenton, all meeting dates are to be set at first meeting, all news

and information can be posted on web site via Julie Hill

Heidi’s grooming will generously donate $300 for team breakfast. We will ask for donations from parents if needed

during the season.

Every parent will be asked to time during at LEAST one meet.

Fundraisers- We voted to again participate in Hartland’s Heritage Day with the same format. We hope to do a bottle

drive after the 4th of July. Locations, date, and time will be determined to next meeting. Team members will sell suckers

for Sweetest Day. In October we will hold a lap-a thon.

April’s agenda is to include..

-need of stopwatches, possibly from athletic department

-set up Halloween relays

-concessions during meets?

-Gatorade for team

-timers needed

-banquet

We voted to stop the future use on individual accounts for swimmers. All present and in favor were Gina Wistinghausen,

Coleen Grosso, Maureen Robinson, Becky Brown. All fundraisers will be group.

Budget must include dive coach $500, diving awards, and banquet cost..

We will have a parent meeting in May the week of the tenth. Conflicts are being looked into.

Recruiting for 2010 season will be done via e-mail and announcements at school.
