Curriculum - All Day Kindergarten Sample Schedule
Each teacher will need to create a daily schedule depending on the unique circumstances of his/her building. Specials, recess and lunch will play a major role in how the day is laid out. This is just a sample of what it could look like. |

| 15 minutes | Morning Meeting: Calendar, morning message, weather, lunch count | |
| 15 minutes | Shared Reading: Big Book or poem poster with a mini lesson | |
| 60 minutes | Guided Reading/Literacy Center time: Teacher meets with small groups of children that are working on similar skills. The rest of the children move between various literacy centers in the room. Snack can be on one of the centers. | |
| 15-20 minutes | Recess/Free Choice Centers | |
| 30-40 minutes | Writers Workshop: Teacher teaches all children a mini lesson on the various aspects of writing. Children then have time to write independently. | |

| 10 minutes | Read aloud: Teacher reads a
story to the children Math/Science/Social Studies Time |
