Kindergarten Registration

Hartland Consolidated Schools have announced that they are currently accepting registration for kindergarten enrollments for the 2010-2011 school year. Children are eligible for enrollment in kindergarten in September of 2010 if they will have their fifth (5th) birthday on or before December 1, 2010.
A Junior Kindergarten program may be offered on a limited basis. A minimum number of students is required for the program to be made available. Parents must agree to provide transportation in order to participate. You may contact Scott VanEpps at 810-626-2111 for more information.
The following documents are also required for registration:
- Original birth certificate (with seal) and a copy. - Copy of Immunization records with proof of DTP, Polio, MMR, Hepatitis B, Chicken Pox shots (or proof of having had the illness), and vision screening. - Proof of residency - copy of one of the following: certificate of occupancy, purchase agreement, builders permit, rent receipt or agreement, mortgage statement/payment receipt, voter registration card, utility bill or driver’s license. |
While we will need to see the originals, it will expedite the enrollment process if you also bring copies of the originals.
Kindergarten registration packets and enrollment documents are available by clicking here. They will be available beginning February 8, 2010 at the Board of Education office, the Community Education office both located at 9525 Highland Road, Howell, MI 48843. Our office hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. In addition, packets will be available at each elementary school office and the Hartland Child Care Center (51 Building).
Schools of Choice
Applications for Schools of Choice will be open from February 24, 2010 through August 31, 2010. The enrollment guidelines and application are listed below.
