Fundraisers
We hold two major fundraisers each year, the Fall Fundraiser and our Annual
Auction in the spring. These two events provide the bulk of the funds necessary
to successfully support our childrens' school. We use the funds to provide
field trip transportation, host visiting authors and various cultural
enrichment programs, buy classroom equipment, support the reading program and
much, much more.
This year's auction was a great success! We were able to raise $10,000! A special thanks goes out to
the hundreds of businesses who donated and to the volunteers who put endless
hours in organizing and hosting, as well as those of you who attended the
evening, enjoying the food and fun. We would like to personally thank Kerry
Risse, Thom Dumond and Rachelle Seguin for organizing and coordinating this
massive project.

pm Thanks to all of you who made our Fun Fest FUN! Our halls would have looked bare without all the wonderful Fun Fest posters decorating them. Thank you to all the students who participated in this year's poster contest. We'd like to congratulate the winners:
Ice Cream Social/Book FairThursday, May 15, 2008 The Spring Book Fair begins Monday, May 12th and runs through Friday, May 16th. This is the week when students and their families discover and purchase a wide variety of books. There are story books, How-To books, and marvelous kits for all ages. Book Fair hours are 9:00am - 7:30pm on Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday, and Friday. On Thursday, they are 9:00am - 4:00pm and 6:30pm - 8:30pm, at which time the Lakes teachers will spend the evening dishing up ice cream for all. Come shop the book fair and enjoy a delicious ice cream cone.
Teacher Appreciation WeekDate TBD The week we let our teachers know how important they really are! Teacher Appreciation week is full of room decorations and a special luncheon as our way of saying "Thank You" to all of our childrens' teachers. Room Mothers - It's time to start asking for volunteers to help decorate all of the teachers doors for Teacher Appreciation Week. It's coming fast, so don't delay! The Teacher Appreciation Committee will be making calls for food donations such as soups, salads and desserts. So get those famous recipes ready!! Questions?

Field DayDate TBD This end-of-year day outdoors is filled with games and events for all the kids. This is a great opportunity for you to help give your kids a full school day packed with fun. Volunteers to help set up or tear down, donate food, or work during Field Day are always greatly appreciated.
