1095-C Tax Form
The Paperwork Burden Reduction Act (PBRA) amends the Internal Revenue Code and reduces unnecessary paperwork related to health insurance coverage reporting for employers and employees.
Under the PBRA, employers are no longer required to send 1095-C forms to covered individuals unless a form is requested. A 1095-C form provides proof of health insurance through your employer for the 12-months of the previous calendar year. This form is not required to file your tax return.
