Hartland Consolidated Schools provide special education and related services according to the federal mandates of the Individual with Disabilities Act and to the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education. We service over 500 students with special needs, ages 3 to 19. We offer a continuum of services to meet the individual needs of our learners. Whenever possible, students are served in their home school based on their attendance area. For those students who require more intensive services in order to benefit from their special education, placement in a neighboring school may be necessary.
